I mean, at first, it kinda sound and plays very boring. You might see in some forums like Reddit or Steam Community that some people share the sentiments of the game being boring. More than that is just exploring new ways to play the game. At least around 150 hours is enough for you to actually explore the entirety of the game. If you’re thinking long term, Stardew Valley barely feels like a long-term investment. But you’ll have to actually like the gameplay itself for you to get into the game.
